Anthony Mackie and Dafne Keen to star in Barracuda.

Anthony Mackie (Captain America) and Dafne Keen (Deadpool & Wolverine) lead Barracuda, a new action thriller from director Neil Burger, known for Limitless, Divergent and The Illusionist. Filming starts this week in Las Cruces, New Mexico.

Mackie plays Karl, a former smuggler who storms a nightclub in Mexico to rescue Jodie, a kidnapped teenager. The escape turns into a high-speed chase across the desert in a stolen 1973 Plymouth Barracuda, with a ruthless crime family close behind.

Steven Bauer and Anthony Del Negro also star. The screenplay is by Adam Mason and Simon Boyes, and Oscar winner Robert Zemeckis is executive producer.
