Barracuda wraps in New Mexico after employing more than 700 locals.

Filming on Barracuda, the action thriller starring Anthony Mackie, has wrapped in Las Cruces, New Mexico.

Over almost two months of shooting, the production employed more than 700 New Mexicans: about 80 crew members, 29 principal cast members from the state and more than 600 background performers.

The New Mexico Film Office welcomed the production as proof that the state can host large films outside its big cities. Barracuda now moves into post-production.
